Although ordinary wire mesh overscreens work well, the ideal sanitary strainer is our woven wire screens which are available in a variety of different sizes. Our superior quality stainless steel strainers are tack welded at the ends and seams. Unlike other more traditional style metal screens, SKS mesh overscreens provide consistency in production with greater purity because they are easier to clean.

Screen Construction Materials

SKS overscreens are fashioned from the finest punched stainless steel and this non-woven material holds up well to hard-wear and is easy to clean. All of this drastically reduces the risk of contamination due to the use of high quality stainless steel strainers. Each mesh wire overscreen is made of 316L stainless steel. The high quality welded seam hems and ends make the screens particularly durable.
